Warren Farrell

Warren Farrell is a political scientist, activist, and author of seven books on men’s and women’s issues. Dr Farrell has shared the insights from his influential book The Boy Crisis across the globe, from the White House to the Norwegian Parliament. His work has been a catalyst for bipartisan legislation advocating for increased father involvement in Florida.

With his books translated into 19 languages, Dr Farrell’s writings include the New York Times bestseller Why Men Are the Way They Are and the international bestseller The Myth of Male Power. His most recent work, Role Mate to Soul Mate: The Seven Secrets to Lifelong Love, draws from 30 years of experience teaching communication skills to couples, benefiting over a thousand couples and psychologists.

A pioneer in both the women’s and men’s movements, Dr Farrell has served three terms on the Board of the National Organization for Women in New York City and has been referred to by GQ as “The Martin Luther King of the men’s movement.” He advocates for a “Gender Liberation Movement,” aimed at freeing both sexes from the constraints of traditional gender roles.
