Kory Marchisotto is a transformative force in beauty, culture, and business. As Chief Marketing Officer of e.l.f. Beauty, she has turned audacious ideas into viral campaigns, driven the company past $1 billion in net sales, and redefined what it means to connect with modern consumers.
From “Judge Beauty” at the Super Bowl to the e.l.f. Power Grip Primer campaign with Joey King, Marchisotto makes every launch a cultural moment. Some of her notable achievements at e.l.f. include the So Many Dicks campaign, a Wall Street takeover highlighting gender and diversity gaps in corporate boards, and the creation of a board accelerator program in partnership with the National Association of Corporate Directors. In doing so, Kory Marchisotto has transformed e.l.f. into a platform for social impact, democratising access to leadership opportunities just as she democratises beauty itself.
Marchisotto’s career spans two decades, including 18 years at Shiseido and high-profile roles with Jean Paul Gaultier, Issey Miyake, Hermés, Burberry, and others. She is the first in her family to graduate college, and she credits that journey with shaping her fire to turn “no” into “yes”. A drive evident in her early move from sales operations to marketing leadership and in her fearless embrace of new platforms like TikTok and Twitch to reach audiences directly.
Kory Marchisotto joined e.l.f. in 2019, bringing a philosophy of accessibility that starts with leadership and trickles down to product, packaging, and communication. For her, accessibility goes beyond pricing, it is breaking barriers and giving people a platform to express themselves fully. Her mantra is: “Find your true north and stick to it,” a principle that informs every campaign, collaboration, and initiative she leads.
In 2025, Marchisotto joined the Board of Directors of Dutch Bros, continuing her work in cultivating companies that combine commercial success with purpose-driven impact.
