He is the Founder of MyFinB, the Centre of AI Innovation (Global), and AIV50, a ventures company focused on innovation and digital transformation.
He is a trusted advisor to public, private, and non-profit organisations globally, providing strategic counsel on digital transformation and AI adoption. Over the past two decades, he has led the successful delivery of more than 500 digital transformation initiatives through University–Industry Partnership programmes and the Digital AI Labs (DIAL), working with corporations and government agencies.
Prior to his entrepreneurial work, Nazri built a strong foundation in investment research and financial analysis. He managed a portfolio exceeding USD 5 billion across Asia-Pacific (excluding Japan) as part of the investment and research teams of two international asset management firms. He also served as an Associate Director at an international credit rating agency, where he covered regional financial institutions across Asia.
He was awarded the Suryadatta Institute National Awards Excellence (India) in Digital Transformation using AI in 2023, the Global Excellence Award by Global Chamber.Org in 2020, and the Asia-Pacific Young Business Leader Award in 2010. Nazri was also recognized as one of the world’s top 500 influential personalities in the AI/Fintech category by Islamica500 in 2019. He has been ranked as the #1 Thought Leader in AI, Digital Transformation & Predictive Analytics by Thinkers360 since July 2021.
In addition to his professional career, Nazri is actively engaged in public service. He serves as the Honorary Consul for the Republic of Cabo Verde and is a Member of the Board of Governors at Republic Polytechnic in Singapore, where he also advises the School of Infocomm. He previously served as Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Malay Heritage Foundation and as a member of the Malay Program Advisory Committee (MPAC) under the Media Development Authority (MDA), contributing to the oversight and quality assurance of locally produced Public Service Broadcast content.
