Angela Zhang serves as Director of Philip K. H. Wong Centre for Chinese Law at the University of Hong Kong. The institute promotes legal scholarship and facilitates dialogue between East and West. Before joining the University of Hong Kong in 2017, Zhang taught at King’s College London for 4 years and practised law for 6 years in the United States, Europe and Asia. She worked as a bankruptcy lawyer at Debevoise & Plimpton in New York between 2008 and 2010 and as an antitrust attorney at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in Brussels in 2011.
