Scott Galloway

Scott Galloway is a Professor of Marketing at the NYU Stern School of Business, where he teaches Brand Strategy and Digital Marketing to second-year MBA students. He is the creator of the Digital IQ Index®, a global benchmark of digital competence among prestige brands. In 2012, Poets & Quants named him one of “The World’s 50 Best Business School Professors.”

An accomplished entrepreneur, Galloway has founded nine companies, including Prophet, RedEnvelope, L2 (acquired by Gartner for over $150 million), and Section, a business education platform where he also teaches.

Galloway has served on the boards of several public and private institutions, including The New York Times Company, Urban Outfitters, Panera Bread, Ledger, and the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. He was elected to the World Economic Forum’s “Global Leaders of Tomorrow,” an honour recognising 100 individuals under the age of 40 whose work has had a global impact.

His media portfolio which includes The Prof G Pod, Prof G Markets, Raging Moderates, the Pivot podcast (co-hosted with Kara Swisher), the No Mercy / No Malice newsletter, and his YouTube channel reaches millions weekly. He has received multiple Webby Awards and honours for Best Business Podcast.
