Pamela Chng

Driven by a belief that business can be a force for good, Pamela Chng founded Bettr Barista in 2012 with a vision to harness specialty coffee as a platform for empowerment, education, and positive social change. Through its integrated approach combining coffee expertise with personal development, Chng’s work has empowered more than 15,000 individuals, equipping them with skills, confidence, and opportunities to build meaningful futures.

Under her leadership, Bettr Barista has grown into a purpose-driven organisation that blends specialty coffee training with social impact initiatives. The company has created pathways for individuals to develop careers while fostering personal growth and resilience. In recognition of its commitment to social and environmental responsibility, transparency, and sustainable business practices, Bettr Barista became Singapore’s first Certified B Corporation.
