Lindsey McInerney

Lindsey McInerney is the co-founder and CEO of Sixth Wall, a next-generation technology and entertainment company she launched alongside actor and producer Mila Kunis and veteran producer Lisa Sterbakov. She is also the founder and CEO of Black Sun Labs, a consultancy and innovation studio focused on web3, metaverse, and future-of-internet strategy. Through Black Sun Labs, Lindsey advises global brands, startups, and institutions, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to the United Nations on how to navigate and leverage the fast-evolving digital landscape. With a career spanning hyper-growth startups, Fortune 500 companies, the Royal Family, and the UN, McInerney is a recognised thought leader on crypto, blockchain, NFTs, gaming, XR, and web3.

Previously, as Global Head of Technology and Innovation at AB InBev, the world’s largest brewer, McInerney spearheaded the groundbreaking launch of Stella Artois into the metaverse through a landmark partnership with ZED RUN, a crypto horse racing platform. This campaign marked the first time a beer brand and FMCG company entered the metaverse, setting a new standard for brand innovation.

Her extensive professional journey includes leadership roles at Hootsuite Media, Qubit, PatSnap, and advisory positions with Spanning Labs and Toonstar. McInerney was named to the 2023 Thinkers50 Radar List for her transformative ideas and is recognised among the Most Influential People in the Metaverse and Top Digital Futurists to Watch.

McInerney holds a BA in English, Culture Studies, and Critical Theory from McMaster University and a postgraduate diploma in Public Relations from Humber College. She currently serves as a Scholar-in-Residence at McMaster University, teaching a course titled The Future of the Internet and continues to inspire the next generation of innovators by blending academic insight with real-world expertise in technology and digital culture.
