John Hulsman

Dr John Hulsman gets the big political calls right. From Brexit to Trump, he foresees a changing order while others fence-sit or cling to centrist orthodoxy. 

Formerly working in Washington DC as a Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and Senior Research Fellow at the Heritage Foundation, he is now President and Managing Partner at John C. Hulsman Enterprises. His global political risk firm consistently makes bold and correct predictions.

His most recent book, the best-selling, The Last, Best Hope: A History of American Realism, was published by Whitefox in January 2023.

Its premise (drawing on a historical lens) is that the Trump revolution has put in place a new Republican Party, determined to return to its realist roots in order to take care of “America First,” throwing off the shackles of the former GOP establishment’s neoconservative excesses.
