Esben Lanthen is a seasoned sustainability executive and entrepreneur who excels at challenging the status quo in both capacities. As the Founder and Managing Partner of Nordic Sustainability, he supports sustainability trailblazers and Fortune 500 companies in becoming the leaders of tomorrow, all while building and managing a company that lives and breathes sustainability itself.
Nordic Sustainability is a boutique sustainability advisory firm working out of Copenhagen, Denmark with a global client portfolio. The company is an industry leader within the EU regulatory landscape on ESG with a mission to transform companies towards operating within the planetary boundaries and creating commercial value.
Lanthen has a background as a Director in the think tank industry working in partnership with larger companies, philanthropic foundations, and international organisations. He was formerly the Director of Insights at the sustainability think tank, Sustaina, overseeing business development and human resources. As a Senior Analyst and Development Lead at the same organisation, Lanthen was involved in developing analytical frameworks and securing funding.
Lanthen holds a MA in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen.
