Christel Quek is the founder of ChatAndBuild, an AI company building tools and infrastructure for the age of abundant intelligence. Her work has been recognised by OpenAI, Anthropic and Google. In addition, the company’s Non-Fungible Agents framework has been peer reviewed by the London School of Economics.
Earlier in her career, Quek was one of Twitter’s earliest international hires. Later, she held leadership roles at Samsung Asia and Brandwatch. There, she helped expand the consumer intelligence platform across Asia-Pacific. Along the way, Quek watched new technologies evolve from experimentation to mainstream adoption.
Christel Quek is also the co-founder of BoltOS, a global social and digital ecosystem with more than eight million users across Asia, Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
Today, she helps leaders and organisations make sense of what comes next. Quek brings a unique perspective to conversations about artificial intelligence, digital transformation and the future of work. More importantly, she explores what these advances mean for business, creativity and human potential.
Quek holds dual postgraduate degrees from the University of Oxford, including a Postgraduate Master’s in AI for Business and an MSc in Major Programme Management. After helping scale global platforms and building ventures of her own, she now focuses on a question she believes will define the next era of innovation: how can anyone with an idea become a builder?
For Christel Quek, the future will not belong to a handful of insiders. Instead, it will belong to people everywhere, empowered by tools that make intelligence more abundant and creation more accessible.
