Chris Kane

Chris Kane has worked in the sector for over 30 years, having operated as the VP Corporate Real Estate for Walt Disney Company and Head of BBC Workplace, where he was responsible for the creation of MediaCityUK in Salford and oversaw the £1bn development of Broadcasting House, as well as the inception of White City innovation/creative quarter in West London.

Kane is a founding member of EverythingOmni, which focuses on workplace development, place making and innovation. He has held the position of Non-Executive Director on the boards of Laganside Corporation, Network Homes, NHS Property, Elstree Film Studios, and currently serves on the board of Ashford St. Peter’s NHS Trust. Additionally, Kane co-founded Six Ideas, a global community of thought leaders dedicated to workplace development and innovation with a strong interest in placemaking and innovation.

As a special advisor to businesses and developers, Kane helps businesses navigate macro factors impacting office spaces, such as ongoing digital and behavioural shifts, and assists developers and investors in adapting to the systemic changes within the sector.

His new book, Where Is My Office? Reimagining the Workplace for the 21st Century draws on his knowledge and experiences in commercial property to investigate what the 21st century workplace needs to look like, and potential opportunities that lie ahead. Kane also serves as an opinion columnist for CEOWORLD Magazine.
