Caspar Berry is a speaker on risk-taking and decision-making. A former professional poker player and co-founder of Twenty First Century Media, Berry draws on the rich metaphor of poker to explore the psychology of risk and the power of calculated decision-making in high-stakes environments.
Berry started his career as the lead in the first BBC 1 series of Byker Grove, alongside Ant and Dec. He went on to read Economics and Anthropology at Cambridge and, after setting his sights on becoming a professional film writer, had his first screenplay produced. At 25, he moved to Las Vegas to become a professional poker player, where he spent three years playing against some of the world’s best.
Returning to the UK, Berry became the country’s premier poker commentator, appearing on Poker Night Live and Sky Poker, and serving as the official poker advisor on the James Bond film Casino Royale.
