Anirudh Suri

Anirudh Suri is a venture capitalist, technology entrepreneur and policy advisor. His interests lie at the intersection of climate, technology and geopolitics, and he is committed to helping India and Indian startups cement their space in the global tech ecosystem.

Suri is currently the Managing Partner at India Internet Fund, a technology-focused venture capital fund based in India and the US. Previously, he worked with the Government of India in Delhi, McKinsey and Company in New York, the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington DC, and Goldman Sachs in London.

He is author of “The Great Tech Game“, a “must-read” for policy makers especially those in emerging markets like India. He has written extensively on foreign policy, geopolitics, national security, technology and entrepreneurship in publications such as the Indian Express, The Seminar, Hindustan Times, Foreign Policy, The New Republic, and Asia Times. Anirudh Suri also served as the Founding Editor for the Carnegie Endowment’s journal on South Asia, South Asian Perspectives.

For his astute perspectives on the economic, social, climate and political implications of technology, Suri has been invited to speak at various forums. These include literature and art festivals such as the Jaipur Literature Festival, Tata Lit Live! Mumbai International Festival, Bangalore Literature Festival, Vidarbha Literature Festival, and the Bhopal Literature & Art Festival; major conferences such as the Raisina Dialogue, the Carnegie Global Technology Summit, the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, India Energy Week, the Ananta Aspen India – US Dialogue Summit; and various events hosted by think-tanks, universities, research and international centers, and governments around the world.

Anirudh Suri completed his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School. He has served as a Director on the Board of the Harvard Alumni Association and was named a Goldman Sachs Global Leader.
